Jim and Carol MacDonald will lead a nature stroll around Blue Pond in Dunns Creek State Park. We will begin at the Blue Pond access on Highway 17, approximately 2.8 miles south of the traffic signal in Satsuma. The hike is 2.5 miles in distance and is over fairly smooth sand trails through pine wood and uplands. We will hike around Blue Pond, a beautiful clear sandhill lake. Bring water and hats and weather appropriate clothing. Lunch at Mema's Restaurant in Satsuma for those wishing to do so. Bring your membership card for your discount at Mema's.
