Paddle to Mud Springs
Come join us for a paddle and a swim in Mud Spring (it's not muddy at all!) We'll meet at John's Landing in Welaka State Forest. The turnoff for the road to John's Landing is off CR309 about 1.5 miles south of the light in Welaka. We'll put out signs to guide you in. We'll launch from the landing and paddle about 2 miles up to Mud Springs. Bring a lunch to enjoy by the spring. Once we are refreshed, we'll paddle back. After the paddle we may opt to visit the Renegades Tiki Bar.
You must have a life preserver and a whistle.
We recommend a hat, bug spray, sunscreen and a shirt to protect you from the sun. Be prepared to get wet.
