MAGI is pleased to announce Improv Crush
is coming to South Putnam County and you can be a part of it. Steve Crowley is forming an improv theater troupe to perform live in venues around Putnam County. An evening of improv play for anyone interested in joining in this adventure. No experience is necessary and everyone is welcome to attend this get together. We are open to folk from middle school age on up. The evening is free.
Steve Crowley has had extensive experience in guiding improv groups during his career. He was artistic director of Real Life Players a teen based AIDS/STD prevention acting group for teens. He has also led both long and short term workshops in various areas of the County for both students and adults. He began his improv career with Gazebo Backstreet Theater in Kalamazoo Michigan, studying under a student of Viola Spolin, the matriarch of Improvisational Theater.
